Penn State Athletics Practice Bubble

Status: Complete

Substantial Completion: November 2025

Location: Penn State University Park

Design: Crawford Architects

Construction: Massaro

The indoor practice bubble helps alleviate scheduling constraints and limited facility access, especially during the winter and early spring months. The turf pitch measures 394 feet by 295 feet, and the bubble stands 80 feet tall. It provides expanded practice opportunities for several varsity athletic programs, including the men’s and women’s soccer teams.
