PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Alexander Building Construction Co. is requesting proposals for the UP-FY 18-23 Capital Systems Renewal Program—Masonry Construction 2F on behalf of Pennsylvania State University. The scope of work includes Burrowes, Chambers, Carnegie, site masonry repairs, Rec Hall Main Entrance Patio Waterproofing, & Site Wall Repairs.

PRE-BID

Pre-Bid Meeting will be in front of the Plaza of REC Hall, facing the Kern Building.

PREQUALIFICATION

All Trade Contractors interested in the upcoming Capital System Renewal Program Projects must be PSU prequalified before the bidding due date. For prequalification documents, see the attachments below or contact Tina Petrie (tina.petrie@butz.com) at Alexander Building Construction Co, referencing the PSU Capital Systems Renewal Program. Prequalification documents shall be submitted directly to Tina Petrie (tina.petrie@butz.com) at Alexander Building Construction Co. All prequalification documents need to be completed/returned by the Prequalification due date associated with that project. Any prequalifications sent after the due date will not be accepted. Any proposals from bidders who are not prequalified at the time of bid will not be accepted.

BIDDING

The project will be bid through Pipeline Suite.

As a project delegated to Penn State by the Pennsylvania Department of General Services (DGS), this bid opening is public via Teams Webinar. Registration is required. See each specific bid package below for the registration link. Teams will send a confirmation email with the URL to access the webinar. Organizers will admit registrants to the bid opening at 3:00 p.m.
