PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Alexander Building Construction Co. is requesting proposals for the UP-FY 18-23 Capital Systems Renewal Program—Masonry Construction 2E on behalf of Pennsylvania State University. The scope of work includes Buckhout Lab facade, McAllister facade, and roof repairs on PSU's University Park Campus.

PRE-BID

Pre-Bid Meeting will be at the parking lot side by Buckhout Lab, between the Chemical & Biomedical Engineering Building and the Huck/ Chemistry Building.

PREQUALIFICATION

All Trade Contractors interested in the upcoming Capital System Renewal Program Projects must be PSU prequalified before the bidding due date. Contact Tina Petrie (tina.petrie@butz.com) at Alexander Building Construction Co, referencing the PSU Capital Systems Renewal Program, to obtain prequalification documents. Prequalification documents shall be submitted directly to Tina Petrie (tina.petrie@butz.com) at Alexander Building Construction Co. All prequalification documents need to be completed and returned by January 9, 2024. Any prequalifications sent after January 9, 2024, will not be accepted. Any proposals from bidders who are not prequalified at the time of bid will not be accepted.

BIDDING

The project will be bid through Pipeline Suite.

As a project delegated to Penn State by the Pennsylvania Department of General Services (DGS), this bid opening is public via Teams Webinar. Registration is required. See each specific bid package below for the registration link. Teams will send a confirmation email with the URL to access the webinar. Organizers will admit registrants to the bid opening at 3:00 p.m.
